Chocolate Mousse Treats
I always get compliments whenever I do these Chocolate Mousse Treats. My aunt gave me the recipe a few months ago and it’s very easy. I hope you enjoy doing it and eating it!
preparation time: 45 minutes
Its enough for 10 – 12 person (cups)
Ingredients:
- 2 385g Nuttela Chocolate Hazelnut Spread ( use one bottle and a half / 577.5 g )
- 1 Sara Lee Chocolate Cake (Sara Lee is the best other brands are not as moist)
- 2 packs of Maltesers Chocolate
- 1 KDD gaymar ( the regular size not the mini ones)
- 1 KDD whip cream (regular size)
- 2 Flake bars – crushed into crumbs
Steps:
1. Cut the chocolate pound cake into cubes by cutting them into slices then squares. Check the photo below.
2. Fill in your cups with a layer of cake. If you are preparing the dessert for visitors I suggest you use the mini glasses from (IKEA) and if you are sending them for someone use mini paper cups like these (Sultan Center).
3. The choco mousse mixture: Add the ‘gaymar’ and the liquid whip cream gradually to the Nuttela chocolate spread (one bottle and a half of the Nuttela ie. 577.5g). Mix them using a whisk until the mixture is evenly coloured.
4. Add the choco mousse mixture on to the choco cake using a table spoon. Make a thick layer around 2-3 table spoons for one layer. Then add another layer of cake and follow it again with the choco mousse mixture. So now you have / CAKE – MOUSSE – CAKE – MOUSSE / in each cup.
5. You’re done …Now here comes the best part ..DECORATING time! Try to make sure your final choco mousse layer is levelled by lifting the cup and gently shaking it. If the cup edges are messed up with drops of chocolate mousse tidy those up too by using tissue or cotton buds. Sprinkle the Flake crumbs on top of the final layer generously. Add 2-3 Maltesers at the center of each cup. They are served chilled sometimes I heat them for a change

Interesting!
I got a couple of questions!
1- What is gaymar in English? I couldn’t find it in the stores anyway!
2- How much nutella will I need if I’m making lets say for 3 days (for one person)?
If i couldn’t find gaymer can I just use wipe cream?

You guys sorry for the delay, I am new to WordPress and I just realised that I have to approve comments unlike blogspot where they appear automaticaly.
LINUS….
1-Gaymar = Thick Cream in English
it is available in stores…
there are even many types of creams such as Double Cream or Rich Cream, Thick Cream is one of them. If you are abroad tell me where are you and I’ll try to find out where it is available.
2- This Quantity made around 12 cups so do a quarter of these measurings for you. Divide by 4 and refregerate them. I dont think liquid whip cream is the same …i never tried that.
